Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh – June 2025: Devotees of Lord Venkateswara have reason to celebrate, as Tirumala is set to witness not just one but two Garuda Seva events in July 2025. This rare occurrence is expected to draw thousands of pilgrims from across the country, making it a spiritually significant month for devotees visiting the sacred hill shrine.
According to the latest announcement by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the Garuda Seva – a renowned and deeply revered procession, during which Lord Malayappa Swamy is paraded on the majestic Garuda Vahana, is set to occur twice in July 2025, owing to special festival alignments in the temple’s sacred calendar.
Dates of Garuda Seva in July 2025:
Pournami Garuda Seva – July 10, 2025, Sunday as part of the Anivara Asthanam festivities.
Garuda Panchami Seva – July 23, 2025, Wednesday during the Pavitrotsavam celebrations.

Ends: Around 9 PM
These events are marked by grand decorations, Vedic chants, and thousands of devotees lining the mada streets of Tirumala to witness the majestic procession of Lord Venkateswara atop the mighty Garuda, His celestial mount. The Garuda Seva is considered especially auspicious and is believed to bestow blessings equivalent to a darshan inside the sanctum sanctorum.
Booking & Darshan Information:
TTD is expected to release a special quota of Darshan and Seva tickets for both dates. Online bookings for July are likely to begin by mid-June 2025 through the official TTD Seva Online Portal. Devotees are advised to book early, as these slots are highly sought after and tend to get filled within minutes.
With two Garuda Sevas occurring in a single month, July 2025 will be a spiritually charged period in Tirumala. Pilgrims planning their visit are urged to make arrangements well in advance, considering the expected surge in crowd and traffic.
