Tirumala Set to Host Srivaru Annual Brahmotsavams 2025 from 24th to 2nd October

Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh – The sacred hills of Tirumala are preparing to host the highly anticipated Srivaru Annual Brahmotsavams 2025, a grand spiritual celebration that will take place from 24th September to 2nd October 2025. This iconic nine-day festival is one of the most important religious events in the Vaishnavite tradition, drawing lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad to the abode of Lord Venkateswara.

Organized by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the Brahmotsavams are a symbolic re-enactment of celestial festivities believed to be conducted by Lord Brahma himself to honor Lord Venkateswara. The festival features a series of vibrant processions, rituals, and cultural programs, making it a deeply spiritual and visually resplendent experience for devotees.

The highlight of the Brahmotsavams is the Garuda Vahanam, scheduled for 28th September 2025. On this auspicious evening, Lord Venkateswara will be taken out in a majestic procession seated atop Garuda, his divine eagle mount, amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns and the rhythmic beats of traditional instruments. The Garuda Seva attracts the largest number of devotees during the entire festival and is considered to be of immense spiritual merit.

Throughout the festival, the Utsava Murthi (processional deity) of Lord Venkateswara will be taken in different vahanams (vehicles) around the Mada streets encircling the temple. Among the various vahanams featured during the festival are the Chinna Sesha Vahanam, Hamsa Vahanam, and Hanumantha Vahanam. Each of these divine vehicles represents unique qualities and attributes of Lord Vishnu.

The TTD authorities are undertaking elaborate preparations to manage the large influx of devotees during the Brahmotsavams. Their focus is on ensuring the pilgrims’ safety, convenience, and a fulfilling spiritual experience. Special attention is being given to crowd control, queue management, accommodation, food distribution, and medical facilities.

With the spiritual fervor intensifying and the temple town already buzzing with early preparations, the Srivaru Brahmotsavams 2025 promise to be a divine spectacle.
